Finding Enduring Hope

Isaiah 40:31 NIV - "...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Have you ever felt like the thing you are hoping for will never happen? Are you longing to see your hope in reality? You are not alone.

Everyone has experienced discouragement and a loss of hope. When hope is lost, it steals joy, determination, and focus. Lost of hope can kill motivation and drive. It destroys perseverance, too. To lose hope is to lose all sense of destiny and to become weary. It can be grim.

When our hope is in God and not the world, we cannot lose it because we set our affection on Him. Hope is such a powerful heart position. It helps get through the difficult times with peace and joy. When we are weak, God renews our strength to endure. Don't lose heart because of delays. Hold on to your joy, your drive, and your focus. Hang on to your dream. We are the closest to our breakthrough when we feel the weakest. You are closer than you think and you are stronger than you know.

Prayer

Father, I know that you are with me always, even when I feel tired and weary. It is my hope that is the substance of my faith and I know I need faith for you to take pleasure in me. I ask You now to renew my strength as I expect You to perform Your will in my life. It is by Your Spirit that You do more than I could even ask or think of You through me! When I wait on You, You give me strength and cause me to soar like an eagle! Thank you for giving me the endurance to get through challenges to see and accomplish Your will and purpose in my life.
